Bogota Blog NJ along with Bogota Beautiful is starting a drive to collect gift cards in order to help the Citizens of Edgewater, NJ. With the assistance of Bogota Mayor Chris Keleman there will be a collection box located in Borough Hall in the secretary's office. The secretary's office will be open during normal business hours which are from Monday to Thursday from 8:00a to 5:00p. Bogota Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ

On Saturday 7-Feb the Miss Bogota 2015 Pageant held a fundraising event at Bowler City in Hackensack. This was a chance for the Candidates to share some time relaxing with Family & Friends, along with spending time with the other Candidates. The competition this time was to see who was a better Bowler and to have some fun. The Candidates unofficially formed into their own groups to spend the Afternoon together.

The Bogota/ Weehawken Wrestling squad had a Quad meet on Saturday 7-Feb at Union City. They lost the match against Kearny 27-48. Justin Demoya (195 lbs) Brian Delacruz (182 lbs) Jevon Stephenson (145 lbs) all recorded Pin Falls. They then had a 54-10 win over Hudson Catholic. Evan Schroer (285 lbs) Beni Lopez (220 lbs) Anthony Gomez (160 lbs) Jevon Stephenson (145 lbs) all recorded Pin Falls. They also defeated Bayonne by a score of 49-27. Beni Lopez (285 lbs) Victor DeJesus (220 lbs) Justin Demoya (195 lbs) Brian Delacruz (170 lbs) Anthony Gomez (160 lbs) Omar Elgarh (145 lbs) James Brackett (138 lbs) had Pin Fall Victories and Aaron Cippaghila (152 lbs) won by a Major Decision.
Their next Match is at Tenafly on Wednesday at 7:00p
