 Thursday-19- Feb.
 Bogota 

    The Bogota Library will have its initial presentation of their the Smarty Pants Authors  Lecture series. This will be based on traditional style of topical discussion, in the age before the internet.  This will be a chance to listen Authors, and writers  share their thoughts  and discuss their works with others. This  weeks  event will feature Sheila Robinson-Kiss who will speak about relationships. The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p in Council Chambers.  The Bogota Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave, Bogota , NJ. This meeting is open to the public.



 
Friday-20- Feb.
 Hackensack, NJ

  The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center presents the Woody Allen play " Central Park West.  This will take place at the Hackensack Cultural Arts Center located at 39 Broadway in Hackensack, NJ Showtime is at 8:00p on Fri. & Sat 20-21- Feb as well as 27 & 28-Feb. Saturday-21- Feb.
 Garfield, NJ
 The Bogota Bucs Mens Basketball team will play in the Consolidation round of the Bergen Invitational Tournament. They will play Glen Rock with a schedule tipoff time of 1:30p. This will take place  at Garfield High School which is located at  

 Sunday-22- Feb.
Ridgefield Park, NJ
    The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge #1506  will be holding an all you can eat breakfast from 8:30a to 12:00 noon. This will have an Omelet station, along with Pancakes, French Toast, Scrambled Egg, Bacon, Sausages, Potatoes. There will also be Cereals Pastries and Juices, Coffee & Tea. Price is $10.00 for Adults & $5.00 for  students under 10 years of age. Process will go to help the Elks  Club with some of the projects. For more information please contact them at 201-641-9666.

River Edge, NJ
   The Bergen County Historical Society will celebrate the 283rd Anniversary of the birth of George Washington.  This will take place from 1:00p to 5:00p  at  Historic New Bridge Landing.   Tickets are $ 7.00 for adults and $5.00 for Students.        The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman from 5:00p to 7:00p in Borough Hall.  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis.
