Weather Alert


  Bogota Blog NJ along with Bogota Beautiful is starting a drive to collect gift cards in order to help the Citizens of Edgewater, NJ. With the assistance of Bogota Mayor Chris Keleman there will be a collection box located in Borough Hall in the secretary's office.  The secretary's office will be open during normal business hours which  are from Monday to Thursday from 8:00a to 5:00p. Bogota Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ

   A weather alert has been issued by the Bogota Office of Emergency Management:

Prepare for snow Thursday and possibly Saturday along with Extreme Cold Temperatures and Sub Zero Wind Chills each night from Thursday night through Sunday nights.
Light snow is likely Thursday and there is a chance of Snow again late Saturday as low pressure systems move southeast across the Great Lakes and re-develop south of Long Island.

      Extremely cold temperatures with low wind chills are forecast between and after the passage of these 2 systems Thursday Night through Friday Nightand again Sunday and Sunday Night with temperatures averaging around 20 degrees below normal with strong winds.
