Weather Alert


  Bogota Blog NJ along with Bogota Beautiful is starting a drive to collect gift cards in order to help the Citizens of Edgewater, NJ. With the assistance of Bogota Mayor Chris Keleman there will be a collection box located in Borough Hall in the secretary's office.  The secretary's office will be open during normal business hours which  are from Monday to Thursday from 8:00a to 5:00p. Bogota Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ


   The Bogota Office of Emergency Management has issued the following weather alert.

Weather Advisory For Freezing Rain...Snow...And Sleet...Which Is
In Effect From Midnight Tonight To 6 AM EST Tuesday.

* Locations...Coastal Connecticut...Rockland And Westchester
 Counties...Northeastern New Jersey...New York City...And Nassau
* Hazard Types...Freezing Rain...Snow...Along With Some Sleet.
* Accumulations...Snow Accumulation Of 1 To 3 Inches...Along 
 With Around One Quarter Of An Inch Of Ice.
* Temperatures...In The Upper 20s.
* Visibilities...1/2sm Or Less At Times.
* Timing...There Is A Chance Of A Mix Of Light Snow...Freezing
 Rain...And Some Sleet Beginning Late This Morning And Into The
 Afternoon...With Mainly Rain Across Portions Of Northeastern New
 Jersey...New York City...And Nassau County. The Precipitation
 Becomes Steadier Later This Evening And At That Time Will Be
 Predominately Freezing Rain And Snow. The Precipitation
