   Results from the games play by the varsity teams from Bogota on Thursday-19-October.

The Bogota Soccer Bucs traveled to Midland Park to take on the Panthers.  The first half saw a goal by the Bucs' Edwin Suquinagua to open the scoring. Bogota would take a 1-0 lead into half time.

   After the restart Mr. Suquinagua then scored three more times. Midland Park would counter with a single goal. Bogota would come home with a 4-1 win. They now have a record of 3-9. Shawn Tarquino, Cristian Suquinagua, and Daniel Henao all had one assist. Anthony Zuniga made 14 save for Bogota. They next play on Thursday-21-October when they travel to Emerson. The Kick off is scheduled for 4:00p.

  The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball hosted the Lady Warriors from Waldwick. The visitors would serve and score first.  It  was then was tied at 1-1, and Bogota would take a one point lead.   A series  of four ties followed for the next eleven  points. Waldwick's' Ella Eastman gave her team a three point advantage at 9 to 6. The Lady Bucs closed the gap and forged a 10 -10.  Helena Tobin served a 7  point run to put Bogota in the lead for good. They would close out the set by a score of 25-13 win.

   Bogota started the second set with Gyanna Hernandez serving. She gave the Lady Bucs a 5 -0 lead. Bogota would get another 6 point service run From Helena Tobin to put the match out of reach. The Lady Bus would win the set 25-5 and the match 2-0.

 Bogota's record is now  19-1. Ashanna Caviness had 14 Kills, Diana Alfau had 2 Blocks, Angelina Buhler getting 7 Digs, Mia Pimentel scored 20 Assists and a match high with 5 Aces, Helena Tobin recorded 14 Service Points. 
  Bogota next plays on Wednesday-20-October against  Midland Park in Speary Gym. This will be the Senior Game and have a first Serve at 7:00p.

     The  #8 Bogota Bergen County Tournament game against  # 1  Immaculate Heart Academy in a Quarterfinal match has been changed to  Friday-22-October .This will take place at Old Tappan High School's South Gym first serve is scheduled for 6:30p
