On Tuesday-21-May the Bogota Board of Education held their second meeting for the month of May. At the start of the meeting Superintendent Damien Kennedy used part of his comment time to honour Trustee Charles Severino for his 25 years of service on as a trustee in Bogota . Mr. Severino was presented with a plaque from the Board of Education.
All the items that were pass on from the last meeting, and the new agenda from this meeting were approved.
One noteworthy agenda items discussed were the acceptance to approve a submission to the New Jersey Department of Education on future work to be preformed at the High School. Any tine the Board would like to make a renovation in any of the buildings they must submit drawing from the architect to Dept. of Education for approval. If approved it will then be added to the facility plan. Further details and funded will be present to the Board of Education and the Public at a future meeting.
The Next Board of Education meeting will be on Tuesday-11-June. The meeting will be held in the High School Cafeteria located on the second floor of 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:00p. The Public is invited to attend.
