Bogota Sports

   On   Wednesday-15-May North Jersey . Com announced that Jesus Michel of the Bogota Mens' Track and Field Squad  was named  North Jersey Play of the week.  This was based on the week from Sunday-5-May to Saturday-11-May. Mr. Michel won  three of the Group "D" distance runs at the Bergen County Championship held on Saturday. He won the 800 m, 1600 m and the 3200 m runs that day. He qualified for the Bergen County Meet of Champions in those events. This will be held on Friday-15-May at Hackesack High School 4:00p

  The Men's Baseball Bucs had their game against Park Ridge on Wednesday postponed until Saturday-18-May due to field conditions. This will be the Senior game and be held at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond. It is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.

  The Bogota Lady Bucs Softball team traveled to Park Ridge to play the Lady Owls. Park Ridge scored at least two runs in each of the first three innings  on their way to a 10- 0 over Bogota.  Lauren Nicolich had a game high of 3 Runs Batted In for the Lady Owls. Carly Mellone  and Amanda Mulligan would have two stolen bases apiece.  Ms. Mulligan would record 6 Strikeouts in the win. Briana Mancho would Record a Stolen base for Bogota and Amber Vazquez would strikeout  3. . Bogota's record is now 7-10. The next play on Thursday-16-May against Memorial High School of Jersey City. This will be the Senior game for the 2019 season. It will be played at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park. It is scheduled to start at 6:00p
