On Wednesday-1-May the Bogota ball clubs played those from Palisades Park. The Lady Bucs traveled to Palisades Park to play the Lady Tigers. Bogota would post a 9 Run first inning and win the game by a score of 19-0. Amber Vasquez would one over the minimum for a four inning game. She would Strike-out 6 and not give up a hit for the win. Bogota's record is now 7-7. They next play on Friday-3-May at St. Mary's with the first pitch scheduled for 4:00p
The Men's Baseball Bucs hosted the Tigers at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond. The Tigers would take advantage of a number of fielding errors and build up a 4-0 lead after two innings. Bogota finally cross home plate in the bottom of the third inning. The Bucs would score a total of five times in that inning and take a 5-4 lead. Over the next two innings the teams would trade runs and end up tied at 6 going into the sixth inning. Danny Sanchez would replace starter Jake Marino at the top of the inning.
With two out in the bottom of the sixth Jake Marino and Jose Marte would reach base. Mike Fitzgerald would drive in Mr. Marino for the go ahead run. Later Bogota would be another run on a balk call. Mr. Sanchez would pitch a scoreless seventh inning for the win.
David Perez would Strikeout 2 and Danny Diez one for Palisades Park. Bogota's Jake Marino would record 7 Strikeouts, with Danny Sanchez would add another 3. Kenny Grullon had a game high with 3 Runs Batted In.
Bogota's record is now 5-8. The next play on Thursday-2-May at Dwight Englewood to continue a game stopped due to low light. Then on Friday-3-May they play Eastern Christian. This will be played at North Haledon Park with a first pitch scheduled for 6:00p
