Lady Bucs Softball

  On Thursday-16- May the Bogota Lady Bucs played the Lady Tigers from Memorial High School out of West New York, NJ.  This was the Senior night for Bogota and before the game Lady Bucs Coach Brad DiRupo recognized the Senior players from both teams.  He first introduced the two Seniors from Memorial.  They were present with a rose in honour of the time playing varsity Softball. Next Coach DiRupo call the four Bogota Players to join him on the first base line. The first players name mentioned was Natalia Linares followed by  Jayleen Arce, then  Leila Ksiyer and finally Alyssa Vazquez who were all given bouquets and received  applause for the spectators on hand.  
  When the game started  Bogota would hold the Lady Tigers scoreless at their first at bat. In the home half of the first inning Alyssa Vazquez would reach base and then move into scoring position with two Stolen Bases.  She would score the opening run  later in the inning.  In the next inning the Lady Bucs would have two runners on and would score when Ms. Vazquez would hit a double.   Bogota would keep the 3-0 lead until the fourth inning when they would score 7 runs on the way to a 10-0 win. 
  Amber Vazquez recorded 2 Strikes Outs in the win. Isabella Lee would have 1 Strike out for Memorial. Alyssa Vazquez would hit a Double and have a game high 2 Runs Batted In for Bogota. The Lady Bucs  finish their season with a record of 8-10
