  The  North Jersey Friendship House  will be hosting their Annual Wellness Walk for Mental Health &  Autism.  This will take place in Olsen Park Bogota, NJ. This is chance to raise money and awareness of mental health issues while enjoying an early afternoon outdoors. There will be a walk-a-thon around Olsen Park with donations going to help  Friendship  House with their work.  Music, A cook-out, Raffles and a Zumba class are planned for the event. There is a $5.00 donation requested

 Bogota Beautiful will sponsor Yoga in the Park.  This will take place every Sunday in June from 9:00a to 10:00p. It will again be held at the bandshell in Olsen Park. All four session will be lead by Conor Murphy. This is free to the public, however it is asked to contact  Bogota Beautiful at there website: bogotabeautiful.com to make a reservation for as many dates as you wish.  Donation  to support this event can be made to Bogota Beautiful at: https://www.paypal.me/BogotaBeautiful/   Everyone you wishes to attend is required to provide their own mat, towels, and water. Comfortable clothing that will allowed  free and ease of movement  should be worn.

 The Bogota Public  Library will have their Youth's Sewing Club meeting.  This is  open to  Students ages 9-18.  This will teach anyone the art of sewing. There will be a chance to learn machine, and hand sewing as well as shown different project and types of material.    The Bogota Public  Library will have their Video Game Club meeting.  This is  open to  Students ages 10-17.  This will have a variety of games at different stations to use.   The Bogota Public  Library will host "The Dancing Librarians".  This is  will be presented by  Maria Russo and Esperanza Pacheco  who will lead a Zumba exercise class for Student 8-18 years old.      The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

 Primary Elections for 2019 in the State of  New Jersey will take place on Tuesday-4-June. The polls will be opening at 6:00a and remaining open until 8:00p.
The Public schools of the Bogota Board of Education will be closed for voting.

Polls are located at the at :
-- For Districts 1 & 6 it is the Bogota Recreation Center at 162 W. Main St.
   Districts 1 & 6 is that part of the Borough located West of the Railroad tracks.

-- For Districts 2&3 it is the Gym of  Bogota High School at 1 Henry Luthin Pl.  please use the door towards the back of the building on the North side of the Building.
  Districts 2 & 3  is that part of the Borough located East of the Railroad tracks & North of Beechwood Ave

--  For Districts 4 & 5 it is  in the Gym of the Roy Bixby School at Maplewood & Fischer Aves.
     Districts 4 & 5  is that part of the Borough located East of the Railroad tracks & South of Beechwood Ave.

The Bogota Public Schools will have a half day on Tuesday-6-June with a lunchtime dismissal  in order for the school to used as a polling location.

 The  Bogota Public library will host a workshop about  tax Free investing. This will be presented by Ed Sweeney, owner of New Horizon Financial of Bogota.His presentation will focus on the screening process and terminology in the municipal space.

The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p.  This will be held in the Council Chambers located on the second floor  of 375 Larch Ave. Bogota NJ   This meeting is open to the public.

Thursday-6-June
Bogota
This the Teaneck Farmers Market will be open for this season. Shoppers will be able purchase locally grown  and produced food items.  This annual event will be every Thursday from June to the end of October. The stand open at 12:00 noon and continue until 6:00p   The Teaneck Farmers Market is located in the municipal parking lot along Beverly Rd Teaneck, NJ. There is additional parking available near by.

  The Bogota Public Library will hold the next meeting of its Genealogy Group. This is open to anyone who may be interested in learning  more about exploring a Family   background, or  just would like to assist others working  on their history. This will met on  the second Saturday of every month,  starting at 10:00a. The Bogota Public Library will host a workshop for young athletes in Bogota  This will be the first of four Saturday's to encourage Students to learn more about how learning any sport can be beneficial in everyday life. It will be in two separate age groups.  One group for anyone ages from 2-7 will run from  11:00a. to noon.  All Students who participate must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian throughout the event. This is a free event, but anyone attending is asked to register with the library in advance.

 The ARC of Bergen, & Passaic Counties will hold their 22th annual walk for Children and Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Olsen Park. This year the event will  mark the 70th Anniversary of ARC Walk fundraising events. Registration will begin at 9:30a, with the walk itself will  start at 10:30a.  Olsen Park is located at 162 W.
