    Results of the ball clubs from Bogota from Monday 3-May-2021.

   The Bogota Lady Bucs traveled to Eastern Christian to play the team of Eastern Christian/ Hawthorne Christian Academy . The home team would take a 4-0 lead after one inning of play. Bogota would score one run in the top of the second inning.  Eastern Christian /Hawthorne Christian Academy would score at least one run in the five inning game. Their big inning was the third scoring five times. The final score would see a 14- 3 win for  Eastern Christian/ Hawthorne Christian Academy.  Combined with the lost to Hudson Catholic on Saturday The Lady Bucs record is now 2-3. 

  Angelina Buhler would have 1 Run Batted In and the only Double for Bogota. Ms. Buhler and Ruby Recio each had a stolen base. Amber Vazquez threw 4 Strike-outs.

  Eastern Christian/ Hawthorne Christian Academy were led byNicloe Foster and Gabi Mallack wit two Runs batted In each. Elizabeth Lopez had a triple. With Capri Kuiken and Brooke Talsma recording Doubles. Ms Talsma  also had two Stolen Bases. Elizabeth Lopez pitch a complete game for the win with 14 Strike outs   

   They next play on Thursday-6-May against Waldwick.  This will take place on Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park the first Pitch is scheduled for 4:00p

 The Saddle Brook/ Bogota Baseball team would travel to Hawthorne Christian Academy to play Eastern Christian/ Hawthorne Christian Academy.  Saddle Brook/ Bogota would score once in the top of the first inning.  They would  build a 4-0 lead through 5 innings.  Eastern Christian/ Hawthorne Christian Academy scored four time in the sixth inning to tie the game at 4 apiece. The home time would get the winning run in the bottom of the seventh for a 5-4 victory. Their record is now 6-1. 

   Paul Figueroa would hit a triple. John Hacker hit a home Run and had two Runs Batted in. He would also have a game high with two Stolen Bases for Saddle Brook/ Bogota. 

  Eastern Christian/ Hawthorne Christian Academy were led by  Brock Burres with a game high of three Runs Batted In  off the games only Home Run. Andrew Egedy had one Stolen Base.  Cameron Melone would get credit for the win.

   Saddle Brook/ Bogota next play on Thursday-6-May against Waldwick. This will be played at the Sandle/Coolidge Baseball Field in Saddle Brook.  The first pitch is scheduled for  4:00p
