Senior Day

 19-May-2021 
   On Wednesday-19-May the Bogota Lady Bucs Softball team hosted the Palisades Park Lady Tigers at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park. This was also the Senior Game for Bogota. Before the start  Bogota Head Coach Brad DiRupo asked the families of his Senior Players to come on to the field. Coach DiRupo called the five players out of the dug out to be recognized.  Briana Moncho, Joana Tineo, Rudy Recio, Ciara Feliz and Amber Vazquez  stepped on tho the field and were given small bouquet from their teammates. With safety restriction starting to easy the players and their Families member were able to pose for a group photo.
   When play started the Lady Tiger would be retired in order. When Bogota came to their first at bat the would post the first four runs of the game.  In the second inning  Palisades Park would score their only run of the game and make the score 4-1 in favor of the home team. The second inning saw Bogota score 9 more  runs. The game would end after four inning with the Lady Bucs posting a 16-1 win. Their record is now 3-8.
    Amber Vazquez would throw eight Strikes Out in the complete game win.  Ms. Vazquez along with Ciara Feliz and  Briana Mejia had Doubles. Amber Vazquez and Ciara Feliz both had game highs with three Runs Batted In.
   For the Lady Tigers  their Started Cho threw three Strike outs 
   Bogota is next scheduled to play on Monday-24-May at Cresskill. The first pitch is at 4:00p
