On Saturday-8-May the Varsity ball clubs of Bogota took part in the Coaches vs Cancer tournament in Park Ridge.
The Lady Bucs Softball team played the St. Dominic Blue Devils. Bogota would open the game with a three run first inning. They would add two runs in the next two inning and hold a 5-0. The Blue Devils got one run back in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Lady Bucs moved back to a 5 run lead in the top of the seventh inning. St. Dominic s scored 6 runs in their turn at bat in the seventh inning to win the game 7-6. Bogota's record is now 2-5.
They next play on Tuesday-11-May when they travel to Emerson. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
The Saddle Brook/ Bogota Baseball team took on the Dwight -Englewood Bulldogs. Dwight -Englewood would open the scoring with 2 runs in the 3rd inning. They would take over the game with a 10 run fourth inning. The game would end with the Bulldogs getting a 5 inning 12-0 win Saddle Brook/ Bogota now has a record of 7-2.
They next play on Tuesday-11-May when they travel to Emerson. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
