On Thursday-6-January the Bogota/Ridgefield Scarlet-Bucs Wrestling squad hosted the Hackensack Comets at home in Speary Gym. The Scarlet-Bucs would win the match by a score of 36-32. Of the 13 bouts competed Bogota/Ridgefield Park would win 7 of them. Scarlet-Bucs' Gabriel Nunez at 145 lbs, Benjamin Rivera at 165 lbs, Mathew Carvajal at 215 lbs, would all score Pin Falls. The Comets' had Pin Falls by Michael Grant at 285 lbs (D), Marco Greco at 138 lbs, Danny Chuqui at 150 lbs John Stallone at 175 lbs and Shiv Patelat 190lbs. Hackensack's Brain Vargas at 126 lbs would score a Technical Fall.
The Scarlet-Bucs' record is now 2-0. They next wrestling on Saturday-8-January at New Milford. The first Bout is scheduled for 10:00a
