Bogota Sports

   Some more results from Bogota Sports from Saturday-30-October.
  The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team competed in the Mary Ann Collura Tournament at William Paterson University. Bogota  went undefeated  in their pool, and moved to the Championship game. They met Northern Highlands in the finals, the same two school played in the finals of this tournament last year as well.  For the second straight year Bogota came away with the tournament championship  with a 27-17 win.
 Bogota will next play on Tuesday-3-October  against Waldwick. This will be played at home in Speary Gym, with the first severes cheduled for 4:00p

  The Bogota Cross Country competed at the Garret Invitational meet at the Garret Mountain race course. Both squads ran in the varsity "C"  Division. The Lady Bucs finished fifth in the 9 school filed. Bogota's top runner was Alanah O'Brien taking eighth place, with Angeli Jaipersaud coming in Ninth.
  In the Men's race. Bogota placed tenth out of the 15 schools that competed. Jimmy Gutierrez was the only Bucs runner to finish in the top ten with a seventh place finish. Both squads will next run on Monday-9- October against Palisade Park and the Emerson/ Park-Ridge teams. This will be held at the Darlington Park race course.




The Bogota Junior Bucs Football team traveled to Englewood on Saturday Night. The Pee-Wee team was shut-out 0-24. The Junior team lost 6-13. The Senior team also were shut-out 0-24.  The next play on Saturday 7-October against Little Ferry/ Ridgefield Park. This will be a home game played at Fiegel Field. The Pee-Wee kick-off is scheduled at 11:00a with the other divisions to follow.
