Bogota Sports

 Results from the games played by the teams of Bogota High School from, Thursday- 19- December. The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost their match to Midland Park 5-2. The are now 1-5. Their next match is on Tuesday-7-January-2020. This will take place at Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ. First game is scheduled for 4:00p
 The basketball teams from Bogota played those from Palisades Park. The Lady Bucs would travel to Palisades Park  to play the Lady Tigers. The two teams would be even for the first quarter at four Points apiece. In the next 8 minutes the Lady Bucs took over the lead and  the went into Lock room with a 13-6 lead. They maintained thier advantage for the rest of the game and came home with a 29-17 win. Maryann Gesmondo would lead all scorers with 11 Points. Eldris Liva lead the Lady Tigers with 5 Points. Bogota's record is now 1-0. They next play on Saturday-21-December at Wood-ridge 11:00a.
  The Men's team hosted the Tigers on the Jay Mahoney  Court at Speary Gym. Bogota would score the first five points of the game, to build a 14-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. The teams would both score nine points in the second quarter and the Bucs kept their 11 point lead at the half. After the restart, Bogota would maintain control of the game. The Bucs posted 59-36 opening game win.
 Ashanti Caviness  had a game high with 17 Points. Justin Rodriguez was Palisades Park top scorer with 14 Points. Taj Collins and Evan Meberg both recorded two 3 Points Basket for Bogota. Harry Kim scored 2 3 Point Basket for the Tigers.

Monday-23 -December against Dover on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym. The tip off is scheduled for 11:00a
