Some events scheduled to take place in and around Bogota, for the Weekend starting on Thursday-26-December. Times and dates may change due weather or other circumstances. Tuesday-1-October

October to December
    Monday-1- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -16- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Until 31-August 2020

The Bogota  Public Library will have  story time reading  starting at 10:30a. También habrá Historias leídas en español en este momento. This is open available to any Student wishing to join in.  This will be held  under the tree in the Nikki Spiegel Story Time Corner.    The Bogota  Public Library  host their Toddler play group. This is an opportunity for   young children and their Parents to play and relax in a safe area. The Bogota Public Library will have an evening  story time reading  starting at 7:00p. La Biblioteca Pública de Bogotá tendrá una lectura nocturna a partir de las 7:00p. This is open available to any Student wishing to join in.  This will be held  under the tree in the Nikki Spiegel Story Time Corner. Bogota 
The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

The Office of Bogota Borough Hall will be closed
Regular trash pick-up will be on this day
The Bogota Public Library will be closed  Tuesday &  Wednesday and reopen on Thursday-2-January-202020
Bogota Public Schools will be closed  for the Christmas Holiday. They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2020 
St. Joseph's School will  be closed  for the Christmas Holiday. They will reopen on Monday-6-January-2020 
Trinity School  will be  be closed  for the Christmas Holiday.They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2020 
Bogart will be closed be closed  for the Christmas Holiday. They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2020

Ridgefield Park, NJ

The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be host a New year Eve Party.  This will start at 8:30p and go until 12:30. Tickets are priced at  $50.00 person. It is asked that a reservation is made by calling Diana Cuttingham at  201-741-4427, or Rich Roberts at 201-615-0445

Englewood, NJ

 The Black Box Performing Arts Center will host an New Year's Eve Comedy Night.  Scheduled to perform are Sandy Ehlers, John Mclellan, and  Chip Ambrogio.  Doors will open at 9:00p with the show starting at 9:30p. This will take place at the Black Box Performing Arts Center located at 49 E. Palisade Ave Englewood NJ .
