October to December
    Monday-1- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -16- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Until 31-August 2020

Bogota
The group Christmas in Bogota is sponsoring a toy drive for Families especially in Bogota. They will be collecting toys  up to Tuesday-10-December. These items will then be donated to the Bogota Police Dept for their annual give away. This was an idea from Mr. Walter Fowler and is being organized by  Ms.Lisa Kohles,  Ms.Amanda Montgomery and Ms.Kristen Meberg.  They have setup the website at: https://yougivegoods.com/drive-Bogota  They are looking for 100 donation to support Bogota Children this Holiday season. Asa of this posting they are closing in on the halfway mark for this drive. You Give Goods will deliver the donations to the Bogota Police Dept, and donations at tax deductible. Items that are being accepted are toys, other gift items  and cold weather gear.  The donations will be distributed by the Offices of the Bogota Police Dept during their  Holiday give -away.

Monday-9-December
Bogota
 The Bogota Public  Library will have their Youth's Sewing Club meeting.  This is  open to  Students ages 9-18.  This will teach anyone the art of sewing. There will be a chance to learn machine, and hand sewing as well as shown different project and types of material. Teaneck, NJ
 The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy will be premiering the movie of  BPESYA Class #08. The Curtain time of 7:00p, and will take place in the Cedar Lane Cinemas in teaneck, NJ. Admission is free, and is  open to the Public. This film chronicles the day to day experiences of the Cadets who made up  Class #08 in the Summer of 2019. It follows them from Orientation Day to their Graduation Ceremonies. This is a record of what it is to be apart of one of the finest Summer Youth Academies in Northern New Jersey.
      Before and after the showing refreshments along with  BPESYA merchandise will be available for purchase , with all proceeds going to fund the Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy Class #09 that will be in the Summer of 2020. The Bogota  Public Library will have its Baby Story time reading starting at 10:30a.  This is open available to any Child under the age of 2 years old who wishes to join in.  This will be held  under the tree in the Nikki Spiegel Story Time Corner.  Steen School will hold their Winter Concerts for this season. This will be held in the David Moore gym starting at 7:00p

Thursday-12-December
Bogota  
The Bogota Music Dept. will present their Winter Concert starting at 6:30p.  This will  performances by the Concert band and the Jazz band. Also performing will be the Student  Choir,  and the Women's A Cappella group.  There will be no admission charge, it is ask that anyone attending please bring a new and unwrapped present to donate to the YAC's Toys for Tots drive..This will be held in the High School Auditorium located on the first Floor at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota , NJ

The Bogota public Library will hold a teen after hours game night. This will allow teenage  Student to play video games after the 5:00p closing time. There will be no admittance after 5:00p

 The Dance Art Creative Center will present the comedy  "You Got Hate Mail"  This is scheduled  to have four performances  Friday 6th & 13th December at the Dance Art Creative Center located at 519 Cedar Ln teaneck, NJ. Then on Friday & Saturday 20 & 21 December at the Black Box Performing Arts Center at 49 E. Palisade Ave Englewood NJ .
