Some events scheduled to take place in and around Bogota, for the Week starting on Sunday-15-December. Times and dates may change due weather or other circumstances. October to December
    Monday-1- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -16- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Until 31-August 2020

The Bogota  Public Library will host a workshop on how to make a Snowflake Card. This is open to Students ages 10-18 years old.

The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p.  It will take place Council Chambers on the second floor of the Bogota Borough Hall. This is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.

 The Black Box Performing Arts Center will present  an Evening with Uncle Floyd.  This is scheduled for one performance starting at 8:00p. There is a scheduled question and Answer session after the show. The Black Box Performing Arts Center at 49 E. Palisade Ave Englewood NJ .

   The Bogota  Public Library  host their Toddler play group. This is an opportunity for   young children and their Parents to play and relax in a safe area. Bogota Public Schools will be have a half day and be closed  for the Christmas Holiday. They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2020. 
St. Joseph's School will  be closed  for the Christmas Holiday. They will reopen on Monday-6-January-2020 
Trinity School  will be  be closed  for the Christmas Holiday. They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2020. 
Bogart will be closed be closed  for the Christmas Holiday. They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2020.

   Standz 4 Something will be hosting a Holiday Latin Dance Party. This will be a night of music and dancing and be held at the Bogota  VFW Ralph Hall Post #5561 located at 240 Leonia Ave Bogota, NJ Tickets for this event are priced at $30.00 person. There is scheduled to be a live band as well as a DJ. Proceeds will go to the PTO's of all three Bogota Public School.  Doors will open at 8:00p.  The Dance Art Creative Center will present the comedy  "You Got Hate Mail"  This is scheduled  to have four performances  Friday 6th & 13th December at the Dance Art Creative Center located at 519 Cedar Ln teaneck, NJ. Then on Friday & Saturday 20 & 21 December at the Black Box Performing Arts Center at 49 E. Palisade Ave Englewood NJ .

The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be host a Christmas Party. This will start at 7:30p and go until 11:30p  Tickets are $35.00 per person.  It is asked that a reservation is made by calling Bill Damiani  201-641-9666 or Linda Taylor at 201-491-3313. Dress is Business Casual

  The Bogota High School Concert Choir is scheduled to sing Christmas Carol at the American Dream Mall. Exact times and location are yet to be finalized.

Members of The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. will be escorting Santa on his Lollipop tour of the Borough. This a final chance for the Bogota Children to show Santa that they  have be nice this year. He starts his tour at about Noon with Lollipops being passed out by his helpers. This is scheduled to start at 11:00a.

  The Borough of Bogota and the Rabbis of the Teaneck Chabad will be presenting the first Official Menorah lighting in Bogota. This is scheduled to start at 6:00p, and be held in front of Bogota Borough Hall  located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. 
  Latkes and Sugvanyots will be available.

 The Bogota Public Library will offer an AARP  Defensive Driving Course. This is designed for drivers over the age of 50 and will explain update driving rules and teach defensive driving techniques. The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.
