Ridgefield Park Sports

  Results for the varsity sports teams from Ridgefield Park on Tuesday-20-April.
 The Men's Tennis Scarlets open their season at home on the courts at Fellowship Park. They played the Maroon Raiders from Dwight Morrow. The Scarlets would win the match by a score of 3-2. Singles wins by Hans Sasuman (6-2: 6-0) Nicholas Schneider (6-2 : 7-5)  and Aaron Lee (6-0:6-0) gave them the win.  The Scarlet did not field a doubles team.
  Their record is now 1-0. They next play on Wednesday-21-April against Hackensack. This will take place on the 
Courts at Fellowship Park. The first serves are schudeled for 4:15p.
   The Lady Scarlets Softball team traveled to Westwood to play the Lady Cardinals.  Westwood for 4 runs in each of the first three innings, and added 3 in the fourth  for a 15-0 win in a four inning game. Ridgefield Park's record is now 0-2. Riley Merkel had a game high with 4 Runs Batted In. Abigail Goetz  hit the games only Home Run. The Lady Scarlets next play on Friday-23-April at Ft. Lee. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
  The Baseball Scarlet had their home opener on the Baseball Diamond in Biggs stadium. This would the second game of a back to back series against the Cliffside Park Red Raiders.  The visitors would score 4 runs to start the game. They would add runs in each of the four innings to come away with a 10-0 win in a five inning game. Ridgefield Park's record is now 0-2.
  Cliffside Park's Peter Diktas would be credited with a no-hitter for the game. Red Raiders' Richard Joa and Andy Ramo both had a game high with 2 Runs Batted In. 
  Ridgefield Park  next play on Friday-23-April at Pascack Hills. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
