The Bergen County Community testing site for covid-19 will continue to be open at the Bergen Community College in the Lot B location. This is being sponsored by Bergen County in cooperation with the New Bridge Medical Center. Testing will continue of various days until Saturday-1-May. Anyone wishing to revive a test must pre-register. This will be open starting at 9:00a to 2:30p, with check-in starting at 8:00p This will be a nasal swab test with results available in 24 hours.
All people taking a test must have proper identification, Accepted forms of ID are a driver’s license or identification card, Social Security card, passport, or birth certificate. For those without legal status, a foreign passport is accepted. Residents also have to show proof they live or work in Bergen County. An insurance card is also required, again residents who do not have health insurance will still be able to get tested.
In addition the Bergen County site at the New Bridge Medical Center are available to the General Public regardless of showing, or not showing symptoms. The New Bridge testing site requires a pre-register.

 The organization Never Alone Again Domestic Violence Organization & Resource Center (NAAG) will provide hot meals to go every Friday until 11-May. These will be provided by various local restaurants from Bergen County. There will be one meal for each Family Member. Distribution will start at 5:30p from their resource centre located at  668 American Legion Dr. Teaneck, NJ.

The Bogota Public Library will host a virtual lecture about the life Frank Abagnale. This will be present by at Rick Feingold and start at 7:00p.

  The Bogota Recreation Centre will be open every Thursday in April to accept registration for this years Fall Sport. Sign-up will start at 6:00p until 8:00p
This will be for both Bogota Junior Football and Junior Cheerleaders.
The Bogota Recreation Centre is located at 162 W. Main St. Bogota, NJ

  The Ridgefield Park Environmental Commission along with the Ridgefield Park & Bogota Green Teams host the 2021 Earth Day and Green Fair. This will take place at Riverfront Park located at 24 Industrial Ave. Ridgefield Park NJ. This will begin at 10:00a and continue until 5:00p.  Admission and all actives are free of charge. Safe distancing and wearing of masks are required.

The Friends of the Teaneck Greenway will hold their first clean-up for the Month of May. This time they will focus on the Riverside Dr trail between Cedar Ln and Pomander walk.  The event will start at 10:00a and go until 12:00n. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Cedar Ln. entrance. River Edge, NJ
  The Bergen County Historical Society will host their Under the Shad Moon event for 2021. This year it will focus on fiber and stone artifact of the ancient past of the Hackensack River Valley. Th is was original scheduled for Sunday-25-April but was changed due to the weather.
