Saddle Brook/ Bogota Baseball

   This season the baseball teams from Bogota and Saddle Brook will play as a combined team.  The team will play in the Patriot Division, which is Bogota's division from  the last several  season.  The teams will wear their own schools uniforms, and alternated home game. 

 To start the 2021 season Saddle Brook/ Bogota open a home game in Saddle Brook. The game took place at the Sandle/Coolidge Baseball Field. This is located at 540 Saddle River Road Saddle Brook, NJ.

  The hosted the Wallington Panthers.  Saddle Brook/ Bogota would open the scoring with one run in the bottom of the first inning. In the next two innings Saddle Brook/ Bogota would score a total of 13 runs combined. They would add one run in the home half of the 4th inning. Wallington would score once in the 5th inning. The game was ended after 5 inning with the home team winning by a score of 15-1. Saddle Brook/ Bogota record is now 1-0. 

For Saddle Brook/ Bogota  Paul Figueroa  pitched 4 inning and record 11 Strike-outs.  Mr. Figueroa would also have a game high with 4 Runs Batted In. and hit the only Home run of the Game. Wallington's Nick Gutierrez threw 2 Strike-outs.

   Saddle Brook/ Bogota next play on Wednesday-21-April against Garfield. This will be played at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond. The First Pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
