Scarlets Baseball

 24-April-2021

   On Saturday-24- April the Ridgefield Park Baseball Scarlets hosted the North Arlington Vikings on the Baseball Diamond in Biggs Stadium.  The game was scoreless for the first 2 1/2 innings. In the bottom have of the third inning Alex Vasquez would get on base with a walk. He would later score to give Ridgefield Park a 1-0 lead. The Scarlets would expand their advantage with a three run fifth inning.  The two teams would trade runs in the sixth inning and Ridgefield Park would win the game 5-1. The Scarlets record is now 1-3.  Sam Aguilar would get the credit for the win. He recorded 9 Strike out in 6 innings pitch.  Mr. Aguilar would hit the game's only Triple. Kyle Dembski had a game high with 2 Runs Batted In and a Double.

 Joe Witt had 6 Strike Outs for the Vikings, he would also score his teams only run. 

  Ridgefield Park  next play on Monday-26-April against Dumont on the Baseball Diamond in Biggs Stadium. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:00p.
