  The Bogota Library's Spirituality book club next discussion will  feature the book " Tomorrow's God " by neale Walsch. This will take place in the seniors Center located on the second floor of the Library at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. This is a free event and opened to the public starting at 7:00.It is asked that reservation be made by calling the Library at 201-488-7185  of visiting their website at http://www.bogotapubliclibrary.org/

       The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Tuesday-16-June

 The Bogota Board of Education will have their regularly scheduled meeting and work session.  This meeting will take place in the Cafeteria of the Bogota  High School and start at 7:30p . The Public is invited to attend this meeting. The Cafeteria  is located on the second floor of the High School  at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ.





Tuesday-16-June
Bogota

   The Bogota Public Library will host its next Smartypants lecture. They will feature the Verismo Opera . The program is scheduled to start at 7:00p and will be held in the Senior Center Center located on the second floor of the Library located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. Tuesday-16-June

 The second and final meeting  of The Bogota Police Emergency Service Youth Academy   mandatory  Parent ( or Guardian) orientation meeting will be on Tuesday 16-June starting at 7:00p. The meeting will be held in the Bogota High School Auditorium. It is required to attend one of these meeting. If the Parent ( or Guardian) is unable to attend either of these meetings the Student will not be able to join Class 05. This is an Adults only meeting,  the recruits, or any other Student is not permitted to attend. 
   During these  meetings  Director Sgt Lynch and Coordinator Anna Ferris will explain what type of Family support is needed for the Cadets of Class 05. They will  also explain what type of training, and activities  Class 05 will be participating in.  They will also talk about when a duty day starts, and what should happen at the end of the day. Ms. Ferris will talk about care of the Cadets uniforms, and what type of food should to sent with the Cadet. Sgt Lynch will talk about the philosophy of the Academy and how the Cadets will be treated while at the Academy. In passed Orientation Meetings  a number of Instructors have attended and are made available  to answers questions. 
   Also at the  Orientation Meetings  payment of the entrance fee of $75 is due in full. Please make checks payable to:  FOP Lodge 161 - Youth Academy  A completed list of the recruits Class 05 is available at;  www.BPESYA.com .  Any questions can also be set to:  bpesya@outlook.com  
   The Bogota Police Emergency Service Youth Academy will take place starting Thursday 16- July with an assessment day  through Graduation on Tuesday 28- July.

Wednesday- 17-June

Bogota Beautiful has their next board meeting starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcome to attend.

Thursday- 18-June

    The Bogota Public Library will having a viewing of the movie
" The SpongeBob Movie  Sponge out of Water"  this will start at 6:00p and  be held in the Senior Center Center located on the second floor of the Library located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. Thursday- 18-June

the Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.
