Lady Scarlets Volleyball

   On Saturday-20-March the Ridgefield Park Lady Scarlets Volleyball team hosted the Dwight-Morrow Maroon Raiders. 

    Dwight-Morrow would serve first get the first two point of  the opening set.  Ridgefield Park would then tie the score at 2. The teams traded leads and had a couple of more ties.  After being down by two points the Lady Scarlets would go on a 9 point run and takes a 12-5 lead. Dwight-Morrow countered and brought the set to a one point difference. Ridgefield Park would not surrender the lead and go on to will the first set 25-16 

  The second set started with Ridgefield Park serving and scoring first. Dwight-Morrow would  tie the score 3 more times, but could not overtake the hosts. The Lady Scarlets stayed ahead for the rest of the match with a few multiple point runs.  Dwight-Morrow had one service run, but could close the gap to 4 point. Ridgefield Park then closed out the set at 25-17 and the match at 2-0

  This makes Ridgefield Park's record 2-1.

 The Lady Scarlet's were led by Carlin Dypko, Gabriella Duran and Santaina Protasio with 2 Kills apiece.  Ms.Protasio. also had a team high with 4 Assist.Sydney Steadman record 5 Digs.  

   Ridgefield Park is next scheduled to play on Monday-22-March when they play at Cliffside Park .This is scheduled start at 4:00p.  The Junior Varsity game will follow at 5:30p.  Only  a limited number home team Parents are allowed to attend games in person.  This can be seen at : Cliffside Park Athletics
